This market resolves YES if L'Oreal acquires Kosas during calendar year 2026 and the disclosed acquisition price exceeds the price of any other indie beauty brand acquisition by L'Oreal in the same calendar year, per L'Oreal press releases, SEC filings (8-K, S-1, 10-K), Bloomberg, Reuters, or WWD. If L'Oreal does not acquire Kosas in 2026, or if another L'Oreal indie beauty acquisition in 2026 has a higher disclosed price, this market resolves NO.

kosas stuff is nice but it's not moving units like that at Costco
costco velocity is a trap signal anyway. founders chase it, then the reset happens when wholesale math breaks.
costco velocity is real but kosas built something different, the repeat at sephora tells a way different story than what moves pallets.
costco velocity is real, but kosas' margin story at sephora is what matters for an acquirer's math, not warehouse bulk

l'oreal's been more interested in buying scale than craft lately
kosas' founder grind reads more "build something beautiful and stay independent" than "exit vehicle," which usually matters more than balance
