Rule
This market resolves YES if Whole Foods publicly announces or discloses to suppliers a category reset reducing combined shelf space for Olipop, Poppi, and Culture Pop by 25% or more during 2026, as reported by BevNET, Modern Retail, FoodDive, Bloomberg, Reuters, or WSJ, OR if two of the three brands issue press releases or SEC filings explicitly stating such a reduction occurred at Whole Foods. NO if no such reduction is publicly reported by December 31, 2026. Regional resets affecting fewer than 25% of stores and temporary out-of-stocks do not count.

why would whole foods curate *harder* into prebiotic soda when capital is drying up. the tape says selective, not saturated. tasteradio.com/episodes/as-investors-get-more-selective-g…
whole foods resets when sales flattens, and prebiotic soda peaked six months ago. they're already rotating shelf
sales flattening isn't the same as a 25% cut though. whole foods moves slow on resets, and these three are still pulling traffic.
rotating shelf isn't a reset. whole foods needs margin, not sales, so they'd keep the winner and axe the tail.
sales flattening isn't the same as a 25% reset though. whole foods moves slower than that, and olipop's still pulling sales in manhattan stores at least.
every Whole Foods in Seattle has three rows of these now, it's absurd. something's gotta give.
every time i'm at whole foods in seattle the prebiotic soda section looks thinner than last month
whole foods just elevated their smaller format play, which means less linear footage per category, not more. prebiotic soda's sales isn't owned enough to survive that squeeze.
whole foods is still curating, not culling. lapo's getting shelf tells you they're rotating *into* categories, not *out* of them. x.com/BevNET/status/2057653425412751616
whole foods is still adding to the cooler, not resetting. that's noise on the YES case until we see actual delisting pressure. x.com/Brewbound/status/2056642281323561377
whole foods' smaller format stores are the real signal here. they're not resetting prebiotic, they're just not stocking it at all in the new footprint.
lipstick on a pig when the core product's losing sales. whole foods doesn't reset shelf for brands that are still converting. bevindustry.com/articles/98396-olipop-space-camp-wellness…
why are we assuming prebiotic soda has the staying power of a category reset when even plant-based protein lost its shelf real estate this year? inc.com/ali-donaldson/fake-meat-is-out-old-school-veggie-…
watching this one carefully
taste got tired. i've seen this of "functional" sodas at my stores, and the ones that don't move past month four don't get a second chance.
ripi's doing the hard work, actually shipping sales before retail came calling. that's the inverse of what olipop and poppi built on, and whole foods knows it now. tasteradio.com/episodes/how-ripi-landed-whole-foods--targ…
ripi's real, but olipop still moves units at my whole foods. question is whether that's enough when the next three brands want the same shelf.
ripi has the founder story that actually holds up under margin pressure, but prebiotic soda's already saturated the shelf
ripi has real repeat, but olipop and poppi still move units at my doors. what i'm watching is whether they hold shelf when the next reset comes
whole foods just reset their entire better-for-you section and prebiotic sodas are the only category actually moving sales there right now
whole foods is adding brands, not cutting. the room is pricing this like shelf is fixed when it's actually expanding x.com/BevNET/status/2056723301544698296
whole foods is already cramming zero-proof into every corner, so yeah the prebiotic soda shelf gets the axe first. x.com/BevNET/status/2057653425412751616
whole foods is clearly rotating beverage real estate. if they're bringing in french cider, prebiotic soda is getting squeezed x.com/Brewbound/status/2056642281323561377
whole foods parents are obsessed with these, my book club buys poppi by the case and we're all comparing notes
olipop's momentum is real but whole foods buyers care about what sticks, not what glows. nosh.com/news/2026/cpg-week-podcast-big-bets-on-beans-and…
every time i'm at whole foods the prebiotic soda section is absolutely packed
whole foods margin pressure is real, but the actual tell is whether they reset the category or just trim the weakest link
category is still pulling new players in. bevnet.com/news/2026/taste-radio-how-ripi-landed-whole-fo…
olipop's still investing in innovation and shelf presence, not retreating nosh.com/news/2026/cpg-week-podcast-big-bets-on-beans-and…
olipop's got momentum right now but prebiotic soda shelf space at whole foods is basically a arms race and someone's nosh.com/news/2026/cpg-week-podcast-big-bets-on-beans-and…
why are we pricing a 25% facing reduction like it's baseline when whole foods hasn't done a category reset on
new entrant getting shelf space that fast means someone's losing it, and these three are the obvious candidates when resets happen. bevnet.com/news/2026/taste-radio-how-ripi-landed-whole-fo…
why would whole foods cut shelf when these three are still fighting for the same slot instead of cannibalizing each other's growth
