fragrance IPO math doesn't hold if they can't scale manufacturing by Q3 next year lol
why would vitruvi file when the fragrance category is still figuring out who actually owns the margin, not the shelf?
we're seeing diffusers move at actual sales in our home category right now
watched vitruvi at whole foods for three years, same shelf position, same price point.
vitruvi is at target now but the refills aren't, which tells me they're not ready to scale the way an IPO demands.
why would they rush the IPO when DTC home fragrance is still printing money at 70%+ margins, no retail pressure yet?
we're not seeing the repeat on diffusers that justifies that kind of scale
vitruvi has 18 months to prove the repeat rate holds at scale.
vitruvi has the cash and the retail sales, but one bad Q and they're burning runway instead of filing.
room's sleeping on the founder type here
why would vitruvi go public when the actual perfumers are the ones getting famous and taking equity deals instead. wwd.com/beauty-industry-news/fragrance/quentin-bisch-perf…
vitruvi's the only diffuser brand that doesn't feel like a scam
why would they wait til 26 when the window's open now, unless the growth story just isn't there yet.
vitruvi's got the texture right, those ceramic diffusers feel substantial in hand lol
