tiktok shop's doing 40% of her volume, acquirer sees that and moves fast, under 500 is a steal.
why would anyone pay $500M for a brand that's basically hailey's closet with a SKU? the the founder reads checked out.
elf's hedging on rhode means the fit isn't as clean as the numbers look. businessoffashion.com/articles/beauty/elf-beauty-signals-…
elf's hedging tells you the market's already pricing in consolidation fatigue. rhode's not going anywhere cheap if it goes at all. businessoffashion.com/articles/beauty/elf-beauty-signals-…
nobody's paying half a billion for celebrity skincare when the margins are already getting squeezed, she's selling before the hype deflates.
hailey isn't selling under 500, and anyone paying that low isn't actually trying to own the brand
hailey's not selling under 500, she's got the feel-good story and the margin stack. that's a founder who knows what she built
yes at 44 is lazy. nobody's pricing in the founder's actual leverage here
elf is already sweating about rhode's margins, which means someone bigger will snatch her up before the hype cools. businessoffashion.com/articles/beauty/elf-beauty-signals-…
hailey's not selling under 500. she's got enough runway and the cap table's clean enough that she doesn't have to panic.
