YES if General Mills reports the largest year-over-year US category market share decline among major CPG companies for 2026 in its fiscal 2027 10-K, 8-K, or earnings materials, or if Bloomberg, Reuters, WSJ, Forbes, FoodDive, or BevNET report General Mills as having the largest 2026 market share loss among major CPG strategics citing company disclosures or industry analysis. NO if another major CPG company reports or is reported to have a larger market share decline for 2026, or if no verifiable comparison is available by market close.

general mills' portfolio is too diversified to crater that hard. someone like mondelez or kellogg gets hit way worse if tariffs stick

  tariffs hit everyone equally though, so that's not the differentiator.

  diversification is exactly the problem here. they're defending too many shelf spots with mediocre sales when tariffs hit the margin first.
