New market - be the first to take a side.
Early - no trades yet. Be one of them.
Rule
This market resolves YES on exactly one child based on which company's acquisition of Olipop closes by December 31, 2026, as confirmed by a press release from the acquiring company, an SEC filing (if the acquirer is a public company), or reporting by BevNET, FoodDive, NOSH, or Bloomberg. 'Closes' means the transaction is complete, not merely announced. If no acquisition closes by December 31, 2026, 'No acquisition by EOY 2026' resolves YES and all other children resolve NO. Only one child can resolve YES.

ab inbev buys everything that moves, olipop's got the cult following they need, done deal.
feels like the retention math on acquired brands gets worse before it gets better, and olipop's cohorts are still climbing so why would they sell into that momentum.
we're all betting on timeline here, not fit. ab inbev moves slow on integration and olipop's got maybe 18 months before the category gets crowded out
ab inbev doesn't buy growth stories, they buy cash machines. olipop's still borrowing sales
why is ab inbev at parity with no-deal when they've got the distribution muscle and olipop fits their playbook better than most indie RTDs they've touched.
abi isn't stupid enough to pay premium for sales they don't own. olipop's DTC story is real but the retail math breaks if margins compress.
honestly the mystery brand energy reads like someone's prepping for a bigger play. instagram.com/p/DYpghJBAe2n/
the mystery drop feels like positioning for a bigger player. cap table moves before the announcement always look like this instagram.com/p/DYpghJBAe2n/
i'd want to see who's on the cap table before i'd bet on it. positioning is one thing, but the money behind it tells you the real story.
the instagram post doesn't move me without knowing who the cap table mover was. historically, pre-deal positioning is real, but so is noise.
the mystery drop is smart but olipop's been doing that for two years. if AB InBev wanted them, they'd just buy them, not play coy on instagram.
