everyone's watching liquid death swing at iced tea like it's the next white whale bevindustry.com/articles/98390-saint-james-iced-tea-half-…
iced tea half-and-half is already crowded. liquid death's whole thing is owning the story, not splitting it. bevindustry.com/articles/98390-saint-james-iced-tea-half-…
tea adjacency plays are printing right now. if liquid death's watching saint james move, they move in 2026. bevindustry.com/articles/98390-saint-james-iced-tea-half-…
why would liquid death copy the half-and-half play when saint james already nailed the positioning. bevindustry.com/articles/98390-saint-james-iced-tea-half-…
saint james has the positioning but not the resale legs liquid death built. that's the real gap they'd have to close
they're banking on the can itself doing the work, same way my snake plant doesn't need much fussing once you
saint james did the positioning but not the *ownership* yet. liquid death's already got the cult sales to actually move it.
saint james had three years to own that lane and didn't
the half-and-half play is table stakes now. bevindustry.com/articles/98390-saint-james-iced-tea-half-…
they've got the brand equity to own iced tea without borrowed momentum. launch happens.
55 prices in a brand expansion bet without 3yr launch cadence. fading until we see the roadmap
iced tea's the obvious move for them, but execution on margin matters more than the launch itself.
