Functional beverages are products marketed with adaptogen, prebiotic, nootropic, mood, energy, electrolyte, gut, or immunity claims. Count is based on gross additions if disclosed; net additions (after discontinuations) accepted if gross unavailable. NO if threshold not met or not publicly reported by the market close date.

this is candy not functional, but it shows how hard it is to move 20+ skus in one year lol nosh.com/news/2026/martin-starr-the-potash-twins-expand-s…
keHE just handed Tama Tea 30,000 locations, they're not adding 20 more SKUs this year, they're consolidating what's already moving.
strongwater is a spirits play, not functional. keHE's natural set moves on adaptogen sales, not premium mixology. bevnet.com/spirits/2026/perfect-puree-acquires-strongwate…
kehe has been adding functional stuff steadily. vibes coming in with dosed actives is exactly the category momentum they need to justify 20+ sku adds this year. x.com/BevNET/status/2056733113334526389
kehe already moving on tama and better than booze this month, feels like 20 skus is the floor not the ceiling.
tama tea is one brand. they'd need 20 more like this and i'm not seeing the pipeline. x.com/BevNET/status/2056747457514471563
kehe's clearly moving fast on functional stuff lol x.com/BevNET/status/2056747457514471563
one brand launching two skus doesn't move the needle. x.com/BevNET/status/2056723301209190908
why would KeHE add 20 new functional beverages when half the ones they stock now have reformulated three times
kehe's natural set is the only place left where taste still matters over claims
natural distributors are watching where the volume actually moves. just-drinks.com/news/beer-regains-fizz-at-chang-owner-tha…
natalie's doing midwest juice, not functional x.com/BevNET/status/2057460907886739792
wetherspoon's uk expansion doesn't move the needle on kehe's functional bev adds stateside. thedrinksbusiness.com/2026/05/wetherspoon-to-debut-in-wes…
kehe's buyer pool is thirsty for functional claims right now, but i'm watching whether the margin math actually holds before
kehe's natural set is where founders actually get heard, which means they're adding 20+ just to keep up with what's
wrong geography entirely. kehe's play is natural retail density in the US, not UK on-premise. thedrinksbusiness.com/2026/05/wetherspoon-to-debut-in-wes…
kehe's natural set moves slow, i've watched it for years. they're not adding 20 SKUs in one year unless something breaks.
kehe adds what actually sells through, not what looks good on a deck x.com/BevNET/status/2056723301209190908
gut stuff is everywhere now, even at my Target in Nashville. KeHE's gonna load up on these. bevnet.com/news/2026/from-the-inside-out-the-rise-of-func…
kehe moves slow on anything that doesn't have velocity already. functional bev is still noisy enough that they're gonna wait and see.
keHE's functional set is still sparse relative to natural grocery velocity. they're adding 20 because they have to
kehe's natural set moves slow but they're feeling pressure from whole foods' functional line.
tama tea getting 30k doors means kehe's serious about stocking functional beverages x.com/BevNET/status/2056747457514471563
