bobo's has the indie credibility but expo west judges reward retail sales, not brand story. they're not there yet

  indie credibility is literally the retail sales engine right now. whole foods buyers are alison roman fans first, spreadsheet people second.

the product itself is stunning, but expo west judges care about story and sustainability chops. bobo's has both, so yeah.

bobo's has the structural advantage here: oat-based category is hot, retail distribution is already there

  fair point, but i've seen Target move slower products off shelves when the loyalty's real. bobo's has that vibe

bobo's has the wordmark but the product story doesn't stick hard enough to carry a whole category conversation at expo.

  wordmark's clean but you're right, the actual differentiation story feels thin for judges who've seen 200 better-packaged nutrition plays this cycle.

bobo's has the supply chain discipline to actually ship consistent product at scale. that's half the category right there.
