red baron's been holding the frozen pizza throne for years. foodinstitute.com/video/fi-spotlight-the-best-selling-bra…
my freezer's got three brands rotating and red baron's the one the grandkids actually finish
yeah but holding ≠ winning in 2026 when digiorno's been eating into mid-tier retail hard. what's the actual sales story there
holding it and keeping it aren't the same thing. digiorno's been stealing share on taste, red baron's coasting on distribution inertia.
yeah but holding ≠ growing lol
honestly it's just everywhere now, even at Waitrose when i'm back visiting family in Surrey, so yeah the momentum feels real
red baron's been treading water for years while digiorno and store brands ate their lunch
red baron's distribution is still there, but you're right that they haven't innovated the actual product in forever.
red baron's got the aesthetic equity though, that retro box still *feels* premium when you're standing in the freezer.
red baron's got the brand equity but yeah, execution's been the problem. founder change would flip this whole thing
