ag1's been treading water on the supplement side while everyone else ships categories. eighteen months to prove the longevity angle sticks, or the funding window closes.
the reformulation cycle on their marketing feels like treading water to me, but the family story around longevity keeps people subscribed.
founder is still the same guy who built the first lock. that matters more than category sales here.
longevity angle works if the rx story actually moves margins, but i'm not seeing creator conviction yet.
the longevity thesis is real, but the base rate on category pivots actually landing in eighteen months is closer to 20%.
ag1's retention curve flattened three years ago. doesn't matter how much they raise if the category stopped believing.
ag1's already got the margins and retention to justify a bigger round lol
