This market resolves YES if Target announces a Marie Kondo-branded home collection launch in 2026 and Marie Kondo receives more combined article mentions than any other Target home brand launched that year across Retail Dive, Home Furnishings News, WWD, Modern Retail, and Forbes retail coverage, as verified by public search of those outlets' archives through February 20, 2027. If multiple brands are within 10% of the leader in article count, the brand with the highest total mentions wins. NO if Marie Kondo is not the leader or does not launch.

marie kondo's been quiet for three years, and target just proved viral collabs work. they'll chase the next tiktok moment instead.
marie kondo stuff feels good to look at but it's also everywhere now
marie kondo's already got the vibe people want, target just has to not mess it up. they will mess it up.
target's celebrity collabs always stall in year two. marie kondo's got no repeat play in home
marie kondo's got the aesthetic clarity target's been missing. that alone gets the coverage.
marie kondo's got the 3-year runway to actually build supply chain depth. target home launches usually crater because they ship half-baked.
marie kondo's got the sensory language target's been missing, and that matters more than anyone's admitting.
why would target bet on marie kondo when the whole vibe shifted to maximalism and people are literally unfollowing her
marie kondo at target is the move nobody asked for because it's already solved
marie kondo peaked three years ago. target's betting on nostalgia when they should be rotating to the next thing.
marie kondo's got the retail muscle and the name, but target launches home brands every year and kills half of them.
marie kondo's moment was 2016, and target's home customer doesn't care about sparking joy anymore, they care about not burning dinner.
target's betting on kondo's name but the home category needs 18 months to build supply chains
