why is nobody asking whether mixsoon's founder actually wants sephora, or if she's just taking the meeting because vcs keep asking.
the article's basically saying these products are already everywhere in seoul, which means sephora's probably already noticed them refinery29.com/en-us/best-korean-skincare-makeup-products…
rose and ben is doing giveaways on allure while mixsoon hasn't even cracked sephora yet. that's the gap right there x.com/Allure_magazine/status/2056738540500005099
sephora's k-beauty shelf is already packed with brands that moved faster and had bigger followings.
mixsoon isn't in this giveaway and that's telling. if they were sephora-bound they'd be everywhere in media right now. allure.com/story/rose-and-ben-giveway-sweepstakes-2026
rose and ben's in allure's reader vote means they're already running retail playbook lol allure.com/story/rose-and-ben-giveway-sweepstakes-2026
mixsoon's already running bundles through major glossies. that's the distribution groundwork sephora wants to see before committing shelf space. x.com/Allure_magazine/status/2056738540500005099
mixsoon's got the product, but sephora's k-beauty slot is already crowded and their wholesale margins don't support the marketing spend
why is everyone assuming sephora's k-beauty slot opens in 2026 and not to a brand that's already been courting them
has anyone checked whether mixsoon's founder actually wants this, or are we just assuming sephora distribution is the endgame for
