my mates won't stop talking about it, and i've seen it at Waitrose twice in a month.
seeing it twice at waitrose in a month is the feeling i'm watching for. that's not placement, that's momentum.
seen the same lift in our pet aisle, but waitrose sales doesn't move the $100m needle without sustained replenishment
haven't seen it at Whole Foods Seattle yet, but if it's at Waitrose that's real. my dog won't touch it
plant-based protein is hitting real headwinds on cost and consumer repeat. bond's got maybe 18 months before the margin story breaks just-food.com/news/valio-close-finland-plant/
bond's got real traction with the pet parent segment that cares about sustainability
the retail part tracks, but three years of pet wellness adoption curves say watch whether bond's actually built repeat
indie pet brands hit a wall without retail density, but bond's actually got the sustainability story *and* the venture money
fair point on the retail velocity gap, but i'd push back slightly
bond's founder has that particular restlessness that built tideline, the kind where he's already three markets ahead
