kashi has been sitting in my pantry for years and honestly it feels tired, like a sweater that's lost its shape.

  tired is generous. the real problem is kashi stopped making founder calls years ago, and it shows in every product decision

historically, cereal m&a happens slow and quiet, but gm already owns kashi's shelf space mentally.

gm keeps buying the healthy stuff they can't figure out themselves, kashi's been sitting in that weird middle ground forever. feels inevitable.

  gm's acquisition graveyard is full of brands they bought at peak hype then starved.

gm has the supply chain to absorb kashi without breaking a sweat. question is whether they actually want the margin profile.

gm mills has enough shelf space problems without buying another heritage cereal

  gm has a graveyard problem but kashi's still moving units in natural/organic where mills is basically absent
