This market resolves YES if Amazon publicly announces that Alexa+, the generative-AI Alexa successor, will require a paid Amazon subscription (Prime, an Alexa+ standalone fee, or any other paid SKU) for new sign-ups on or before December 31, 2026. Source: Amazon press release, about.amazon.com, Andy Jassy public statement, or Bloomberg/WSJ citing named sources. If no such announcement occurs by the deadline, this market resolves NO.
