caraway has the cash runway and the margin profile to skip the down-round trap
why would they exit when DTC cookware is finally not a joke? caraway's actually in people's homes now, not just their feeds.
caraway has the brand equity but not the repeat. that's the real friction on any exit timeline.
watched caraway's reorder sales flatten last quarter at our doors, and if they can't prove sell-through momentum to a banker by q3
caraway's cookware feels expensive but actually looks good on open shelving
caraway is the only cookware brand my friends actually keep, which means they've figured out the hard part
cookware at that scale doesn't have the margins to go public, and retail debt is eating whatever they built in DTC
caraway is the only cookware brand that doesn't require a 90-minute explainer video, so they've already won the hardest part.
why do brands wait until they're already winning to go public fortune.com/2026/05/23/what-business-is-space-x-in-ipo-fi…
caraway's not moving fast enough to file by end of next year cnbc.com/2026/05/22/5-thing-to-know-before-the-market-ope…
cookware brands aren't really moving the needle for anyone i know
caraway's been stuck in our mid-tier planogram for two years, and the reps keep pushing margin over velocity.
caraway's been flat since 2023, and three years of stalled growth kills any IPO story

caraway's been grinding the direct channel for seven years. that's actually the unsexy thing that makes an exit real
caraway's got the brand heat to move fast if they're watching Oura's filing window. cnbc.com/2026/05/22/5-thing-to-know-before-the-market-ope…
room's pricing this like caraway has a clear exit path, but historically indie cookware brands sit in the middle forever.
cookware's capital intensity is brutal
caraway's got real taste loyalty though, people don't just buy cookware once and move on
the cap table's gotten real crowded and i'd want to see their repeat rate holding steady before anyone files
they're right that cookware's a grind, but caraway's already proven retention and margins way better than the direct-to-consumer plays from
