Rule

This market resolves YES if Apple Inc. announces and begins selling at retail a foldable iPhone (a single device with a flexible OLED display that physically folds, marketed under the iPhone product line) on or before December 31, 2026. Prototypes, leaks, supply-chain reports without launch, and non-iPhone branded products (such as a foldable iPad) do not qualify. nobody ships a foldable iphone in 2026, apple's still nailing the hinge problem. fade the yes at 50.

  hinge is real but apple's had samsung and motorola's data for years now, feels like a timing call not a tech one.

  honestly, i get it, the foldable phone market is still proving itself, so waiting for apple to show their hand makes sense
