Resolution

Rule

Resolves YES if the FDA Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee, at any meeting held in July 2026, votes to recommend that semaglutide (or semaglutide salts/derivatives) be placed on the Demonstrably Difficult to Compound (DDC) list, or otherwise issues a recommendation that would restrict compounded semaglutide. Resolves based on official meeting minutes or the FDA briefing summary posted to fda.gov. If no PCAC meeting addressing semaglutide occurs in July 2026, resolves NO.

Resolves by Aug 7, 2026.

Background

The PCAC meets in July 2026 to advise the FDA on whether semaglutide active pharmaceutical ingredients should be restricted from non-FDA-approved compounded drug use. A recommendation to restrict would functionally end the Hims & Hers / Ro / Found / Henry Meds compounded GLP-1 business in the US.
